InterPlas Thailand 19-22 JUNE 2024

The InterPlas Thailand, organized by the Thailand Institute of Packaging and Recycling Management for Sustainable Environment , is the most comprehensive and largest iconic plastics and rubber manufacturing exhibition in Southeast Asia. Comprising five specialized zones, the exhibition showcases products in the fields of plastics, packaging, molds, automotive parts, industrial automation, surface and coating technologies, among others.

Thailand stands as the world's largest rubber-producing country, contributing to over one-third of the world's total output. It is also the world's leading exporter of rubber. Strong international demand has led to a 29.2% surge in export prices, while domestic demand has increased due to downstream industries such as automotive, automotive components, surgical gloves, and rubber medical devices. Government support, including increased procurement by state-owned institutions, has further fueled domestic demand. With an early expansion of cultivation areas and enhanced demand in both domestic and international markets, it is projected that rubber production will grow at an average annual rate of 3-4% over the next two years.

The exhibition attracts over 1,280 exhibitors from more than 15 countries globally, drawing buyers from various countries, including Australia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Singapore, Myanmar, the UK, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Turkey, and more. The total exhibition area covers 56,450 square meters.

Scheduled to take place in Bangkok from June 19 to June 22, 2024, InterPlas Thailand is poised to be a significant event for the plastics and rubber industry in Southeast Asia.
